No one wants to be in an accident. The aftermath of an accident can be a chore sorting out vehicle repairs and insurance claims. Sorting out the details after suffering a serious injury or the death of a loved one can make the aftermath of motor vehicle accidents a more difficult process. Sadly, one young Florida man recently lost his life in a tragic motorcycle crash.
The 19-year-old man was traveling through an intersection when the crash occurred. He was traveling on his motorcycle when a larger motor vehicle turned in front of him. Not able to stop, the man crashed into the 74-year-old woman’s passenger side of her vehicle.
Sadly, the man suffered serious injuries. He did not survive to be transported for medical care at a hospital and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It was not reported if the woman suffered any injuries, but authorities are anticipating filing some charges for her involvement in the crash.
It is understandably difficult to process all the medical expenses, property damage and/or burial expenses associated in the aftermath of motor vehicle accidents. Florida personal injury attorneys understand the burden expenses can have on grieving families or healing victims. Attorneys can advise victims how to file insurance claims to assist with accident-associated expenses. Insurance policies typically have limits on the amount of compensation that can be paid per accident, but the damages from an accident could exceed insurance compensation. Depending on the case, attorneys may advise an individual to file a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit in anticipation that more compensation could be rendered.
